HOKKAIDO
HOKKAIDO
Hokkaido is Japan’s northernmost island and sidles the frosty southeastern parts of Russia. It is widely known for its winter attractions such as the amazing powder snow at Niseko, the Sapporo Ice Sculpture Festival and the delectable seafood fished from the ice-cold winter waters. As the snow melts, the white expanses begin to reveal a gentler view. Verdant green fields, deep blue lakes and rolling hills covered in flowers. The food is something to behold as well. Hokkaido boasts many local ingredients such as lamb, potatoes, deer, dairy, seafood and Sapporo style ramen. With so many things to see and do you can start by checking our favourite things to do in Hokkaido.
