Kanagawa is the coastal prefecture just below Tokyo. Due to its proximity, there are plenty of great day trips and getaway destinations to enjoy. Let’s start with the vibrant capital city, Yokohama. This port city is well known for its bustling Chinatown, Landmark Tower and Sankei-en Garden. Other attractions include the Cup Noodle Museum, Museum of Art and frequent events at the Red Brick Warehouse. Kanagawa is full of popular getaway destinations; Hakone for onsens, Kamakura for beaches and history and Enoshima for shrines and hot springs.
