OMOTESANDO
Omotesando, Tokyo’s tree-lined, high-end, fashion-forward ‘hood. Located right next to Harajuku and only 20 minutes’ walk from Shibuya, this is one suburb not to miss. Particularly if you love shopping. The leafy Omotesando Avenue has been called the Champs-Élysées of Tokyo and is lined with luxury designer stores and the Instagrammable Omotesando Hills mall. It makes for a great window shopping destination because many can only afford to stare in the windows here. There are also many fancy cafes and eateries in the area, perfect for a brunch date. If you’re on a budget, head for some of the vintage stores instead. Read below for some of our favourite spots.
